Divorce Care Group

You don’t have to go through it alone
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Beginning February 10, a divorce recovery workshop will meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

The sessions are open to the public and meet in the upper room chapel at First United Methodist Church of Allen, Tuesdays, 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Facilitator, Lynn Seal-Cupp’s professional life has been in education and counseling. She has served as a teacher, counselor, principal, Director of Special Education, staff development trainer, curriculum specialist, educational diagnostician, and college lecturer. Lynn received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Counseling from East Texas State University as well as her Masters in Counseling.  She has numerous certifications in counseling and education.

Lynn is a member of First United Methodist Church of Allen. She is a Stephen Minister, Stephen Ministry Leader, and she has served as a Grief Support facilitator. Being a part of Christian care giving is a blessing for her. She is married to Gary Cupp, and they share four children and six grandchildren.
