John Rutter’s Gloria

Welcome the glory that is Christmas with a special presentation of John Rutter’s sacred musical experience, “Gloria,” performed by FUMC’s Chancel Choir, DARING Youth Choir, and orchestra with special guests Center Stage Brass and organist Chris Brunt. Christmas Potluck Luncheon

You are invited to a church-wide Christmas Potluck Luncheon on Sunday, December 10, at 12:10pm in the FUMC Allen gym. Bring a dish to share (for 6-8 people) and enjoy a meal with your church family. Christmas Parade

  FUMC Allen is a sponsor for and will participate in the Rotary Christmas Parade in downtown Allen on Sunday, December 3, at 2:00pm, and YOU are a very important part of our entry. Holiday Food Drive and Christmas Adoption Program

Again this year, Allen Community Outreach is planning to make the holidays a little happier for the families facing hardships with their Holiday Food Drive and Christmas Adoption Program, but they need our help! For the Holiday Food Drive, ACO is collecting food items through November 10 to donate to families during Thanksgiving and Christmas times.  The list of needed food items can be found HERE. Meal on Wheels Thanksgiving Dinner

  On Thanksgiving Day, November 23, First United Methodist Church of Allen volunteers will prepare more than 1,000 packaged meals to be delivered to Collin County Meals on Wheels (MOW) clients by area police officers. UPDATE: We need your help in bringing prepared food.
