Girls Volleyball League

Sports Ministry is partnering with churches in the area for our fall volleyball league for girls in grades 1-4. We’ll have a team for girls in grades 1 and 2 and another for girls in grades 3 and 4. We’ll rotate  games, playing teams from other churches. What a great way to meet other teams from different areas and branch out from our gym. Congregation Approves Building Project

On Sunday, August 5, FUMC Allen held a congregational meeting to vote on a “Proceed with Construction” proposal for the Embrace and Transform Building Project.  After a presentation from our Building Committee, the congregation overwhelmingly approved moving forward with the project with 96 percent of the attending members voting in favor. All youth in grades 7-12 are invited to  participate in the activities of DARING, the youth music program at FUMC Allen. We offer three areas of music ministry for our youth and all are involved in leading worship, producing a musical, and going on a summer choir tour. Adult Soccer League

FUMC Allen’s Sports & Recreational Ministry is recruiting players to field a team in the Allen Parks & Recreation Fall 2018 Co-Rec Soccer League. Players must be 17 years old and up. Player fee is $25 per person. Games begin on Thursday, August 30, with eight games in the regular season (August 30-November 8). Playoff tournament will be held at the end of the regular season.
