The annual Methodist build for the North Collin County Habitat for Humanity is finally here!
We’ll work with our brothers and sisters from Suncreek, Creekwood, and FUMC McKinney to build a home for a deserving family. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to serve. If you’ve never swung a hammer or can’t be outside for long periods, there’s still a way for you to help!
Ede Tutt and her children, Nosen and Tiyosayi Esekhile, are so excited about having a home of their very own. Besides being a busy mom of two, Ede works full-time as a nursing assistant and is studying to become a certified phlebotomist.
Here are our build days as well as the projected work we will be doing for each day.. Weather and other circumstances can change this schedule:
- September 8: Five people to be a part of a joint team to do wall framing and plumb walls.
- November 3: Fifteen people to install baseboards, install bathroom hardware, shelves, window sills, and caulk where needed.
- December 1: Ten people to install cabinets, paint doors, install window sills, paint and baseboards
