Come for church on Sunday, October 28, and stay for free food, fun, and games with friends and family! Our community fall festival is from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at 601 S Greenville Ave in Allen, Texas.
Immediately after the last service on Sunday, FUMC Allen’s Fall Festival features fair weather fun for all ages. Hot dogs, chips and picnic fare, prepared by the United Methodist Men, will be available to everyone. Your love offering will help them fund scholarships for high school graduates and college students.
Activities for Kids
Kids can take advantage of three fun activities especially for them:
Trunk or Treat
Visit goody-filled trunks in the parking lot for a fun and safe way of getting a jump on those Halloween treats!
Choose to look a little different and fun, maybe a princess, a wizard, or a clown?
Thrill to an old-fashioned hayride, whether you are jumping aboard the hay-filled wagon for the first time or wanting to revisit the experience.
Gather near the stage where we’ll showcase the talents of FUMC’s younger artists. You’ll hear hand-picked favorites from:
- Catalyst: 7th– 12th graders performing an array of popular favorites with a spiritual air
- Ringing for Jesus: Handbell choir consisting of 3rd – 6th graders, playing contemporary Christian songs
- In Beat with God: Percussion artists who are 3rd – 6th graders playing contemporary music
- Project Praise: Kindergarten through 6th graders singing music with “fall” themes
Test your prowess at the Corn Hole Tournament! This is a tournament for the older set, ages 15 and up. If you’ve never played before, the game’s goal is scoring a hole-in-one. The target is about the size of a corn ear’s diameter, drilled into a wood board.
We encourage you sign up early to ensure your place on a team. For any questions or to register, email Matt Cobb.
