In compliance with the Collin County order of March 24, our FUMC Allen facility is now closed to the public. But the church is alive and well and deployed into action.

ONLINE PRAYER SERVICE
On April 1, we begin a weekly Facebook Live Prayer service at 6:30pm. This 30-minute service will include words from Pastor Mary Beth and music from MJ Wright. We invite you to send your prayer requests to Ruth Swingle so that we can lift your concerns to God during this time of music and prayer. You’ll also be able to add your immediate concerns during our online chat.
Easter is coming! And we’ll be worshiping online on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter. Click HERE for more details.
COVID-19 Resources and News
Our friends at White Rock United Methodist Church have compiled an extensive list of resources to help families during this time of uncertainty. We share their page HERE, but we also invite you to contact us by email if you’d like to see any other topics or additional information to help you navigate this storm.
In Other News
In our March 29 newsletter, we shared information about a new organization called Allen TX CAREs for our older adults, a new bible study for the ladies that kicked off on March 30, and an update on our summer musical. Simply click HERE to read those stories.
We’ve also posted a new schedule for our Youth Ministry activities that are all online. Contact Youth Pastor Ed Whipple to get connected.
We also want to remind you to send us a family picture. We’ll be putting your face in the pews to remind us of our church family as we bring you worship every Sunday until we are together again. You can email your pictures to Alison Thomas.
Stay safe and stay home, as we continue to be Better Together (but apart for now).
