Communion Offering: Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County

FUMC Allen’s communion offering for December will make a lifelong impact in the life of an abused or neglected child. Each year, more than 4,500 children are reported as abused or neglected in Collin County. Through the services provided at the Children’s Advocacy Center, these children are able to find safety, healing, and justice.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), prosecution, and medical and mental health professionals may share information and develop effective, coordinated strategies sensitive to the needs of each unique case and child. The CACCC model operates by bringing services to the child instead of the child going from place to place to tell their stories and get help.

Your gift will allow the CACCC’s team of professionals to continue to provide critical services to vulnerable children.
