ACO Ask for Your Help with Emergency Toy Drive

ACO Ask for Your Help with Emergency Toy Drive

BREAKING NEWS
ALLEN TX
DECEMBER 8 2020

ALL COMMUNITY OUTREACH (ACO) has 2,083 children and teens registered to receive toys this holiday season. Hundreds of families are counting on ACO to provide toys and gifts to their kids because they simply cannot do it on their own.

These families are struggling in this already challenging year. These are parents who are also in long lines at local food pantries, such as ACO, because they cannot feed their children. These are families who are not sure if they will be homeless after the first of the year.

We cannot let them down by telling them there are no toys!

Yet, due to extreme circumstances with more need and fewer donations, Toys For Tots of Collin County has told ACO that there may few toys available for the many families who are counting on us and cannot guarantee that they can provide them for our distribution date. Multiple agencies, including ACO, are depending on Toys For Tots of Collin County for toys. While we understand their situation and sympathize, we are concerned about the Allen, McKinney, and rural Collin County children who are depending on ACO to be Santa Claus this year!

Thank you to those of you who have already donated toys. BUT WE NEED MANY MORE NEW TOYS by Friday, December 11, to fulfill all of our orders.

CAN YOU HELP?

ACO is holding an EMERGENCY TOY DRIVE through Friday, December 11, for new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children and teens. You can drop off toys at the following locations:

  • ALL COMMUNITY OUTREACH, 801 E Main Street
  • ACO Processing Center,  2 Butler Drive
  • TWO ROWS GRILL, 711 Central Expy S
  • First United Methodist Church of Allen 601 S Greenville Ave

On behalf of Collin County Moms and Dads who need your help, we thank you for bringing joy to our children!
