FUMC Allen Launches English Conversation Class

FUMC Allen is pleased to announce the implementation of a free English Conversation Class taught by Rev Justin Noh on Thursdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in S207/211. Session begin on Thursday, February 2.

The mission of this new program is to support immigrants by offering a conversation class, a support system, and opportunities for community. This mission comes out of our identity as a Christian community, and we believe that to welcome the immigrant is to welcome God (Matthew 25:38).

An English Conversation Class, or ECC, provides an opportunity for non-native English speakers to practice their English communication skills in a safe and supportive environment. This courses is designed for adults who want to use and improve their speaking and listening skills.

The class will follow the Allen ISD school schedule and will not meet the week of Spring Break (March 9). The final session for this semester is May 18.
