Resources For Traumatic Times

Resources For Traumatic Times

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, a lone gunman opened fire on shoppers of the busy Premium Outlets Mall in Allen, Texas, killing eight people and seriously wounding seven.

We are all traumatized and mourning this horrible tragedy in our community. FUMC Allen is offering a time of prayer on Thursday, May 11, from 6:15pm to 6:45pm to care for our church family and community. Our prayer service will provide a quiet, reflective space to pray, to listen, to light candles, to seek comfort. All are welcome to this time and space.

As an additional service to you and your family, we have compiled the following online resources to help you navigate your world during the upcoming weeks. We’ve also included links to details for several in-person events being held in Collin County over the next few weeks.
