Volunteer Opportunity Landscaping Maintenance Crew

Join FUMC Allen’s Landscape Maintenance Crew We need of volunteers to assist in the ongoing maintenance of our campus landscaping. Activities include mowing (riding and push), trimming and edging, weeding, debris removal using blowers, and spreading fertilizer. This work will typically occur on Saturday mornings starting at 9:30am (weather permitting). This is a great way to get a jump start to reaching your daily step goal. Youth Mission Trip Fundraisers

Our Youth Ministry is hosting two fundraisers in April to help reduce the most expensive part of youth mission trips and choir tours: transportation. The first collection is an electronic drive. This event has been extended through May 5 (details below). The second collection, a “Phill The Box” textile fundraiser, begins on Saturday, April 6, and concludes on Sunday, May 5 (details below) All funds raised at these fundraisers will off-set the costs of van rental and gas. LOCAL GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ADULTS FUMC Allen is pleased to host a grief support group within our church for those grieving the loss of a spouse. Our Grieving Hearts Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00am in the church’s community room.
