Prayer cards mailed to anyone who is on our prayer chain, for whom we have an address. These are hand written cards of heart-felt prayers.
Our Prayer Chain consists of individuals who pray for the needs expressed in our congregation each week. Each week the joys and concerns shared are added to the prayer chain for prayer. To submit your prayer to the prayer chain, send a prayer request to Ruth Swingle . To sign up as a a member of our Prayer Chain, click HERE.
Prayer shawls have been a long tradition at First Allen. Many members make and pray over the beautiful knitted or crocheted shawls. The shawls are gifted to individuals, who are ill, hospitalized, facing hard times, the birth of a baby or whomever is in need of prayer and support.
Our Reach Out ministry contacts church members throughout the year to inquire about their families and gather prayer concerns. This is done by email, hand written card, or phone call. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please contact Ruth Swingle.
