Faith Academy Announces 2021 Spring Curriculum

Education Hour Launches on November 29

First United Methodist Church of Allen is excited to announce the debut of our new “Education Hour.” On Sunday, November 29, our Sunday school classes and other small groups will return to in-person meetings. We’ve renamed our Sunday morning time for Bible training and fellowship the “Education Hour,” and classes will meet from 9:45am to 10:45am in classrooms and meeting rooms throughout the church. First United Methodist Church of Allen and the FUMC Allen Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s college scholarships. FUMC Allen awards these scholarships each spring to our graduating high school seniors and current college students based on applications that were submitted in early April. This year, we are honored to award a total of $16,250 in scholarships. College Scholarships

College scholarship applications and recommendation forms for FUMC Allen Endowment, Program, and Memorial scholarships are now available for 2020. First United Methodist Church of Allen offers several opportunities to earn financial help for full-time college and post-graduate students who have been accepted into and will be attending an accredited institution of higher learning in the fall. Scholarships are available for upcoming college freshmen, college upperclassmen, and graduate students. In 2019, FUMC Allen distributed $15,050 in scholarship funds to 20 students.…

Women in Missions Fall Bazaar

The First United Methodist Church of Allen’s Women In Missions organization will again be holding their annual bazaar on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  We’ll be mailing the details and vendor application packets in June, but go ahead and pencil us in your calendars!
