A Zoo for Bruce
This past spring, Pastor Mary Beth shared the story of a little boy named Bruce Williams during her sermon. Bruce dreams of going to the zoo, but because of his ongoing medical treatments, he has been too ill to go anywhere except home and the hospital. Inspired by Bruce’s story, the Golden Girls Sunday School class decided to bring the zoo to him. They began collecting books and stuffed animals so Bruce could learn, play, and create his own zoo…
