Youth Mission Trip Fundraisers

Our Youth Ministry is hosting two fundraisers in April to help reduce the most expensive part of youth mission trips and choir tours: transportation. The first collection is an electronic drive. This event has been extended through May 5 (details below). The second collection, a “Phill The Box” textile fundraiser, begins on Saturday, April 6, and concludes on Sunday, May 5 (details below) All funds raised at these fundraisers will off-set the costs of van rental and gas. LOCAL GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ADULTS FUMC Allen is pleased to host a grief support group within our church for those grieving the loss of a spouse. Our Grieving Hearts Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00am in the church’s community room. New members are always welcome, and the group is open to the community.  We are aware, however, that the pain of grief and loss is not limited to just the loss of a spouse. In…

Holy Week is the week of Christian observances leading to Easter Sunday. The week begins with Palm Sunday and progresses through Holy or Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. It concludes with the celebration of Easter Sunday.
