Pickleball Tournament Results FUMC Allen hosted its first pickleball tournament from May 28-30. Rev Maxie Moore and her team did an amazing job organizing this debut event. The storm that blew in on Tuesday, May 28, forced the cancellation of the women’s doubles division, but teams were able to resume play on Wednesday and Thursday on our newly refinished gym floor. Youth Mission Trip Fundraisers

Our Youth Ministry is hosting two fundraisers in April to help reduce the most expensive part of youth mission trips and choir tours: transportation. The first collection is an electronic drive. This event has been extended through May 5 (details below). The second collection, a “Phill The Box” textile fundraiser, begins on Saturday, April 6, and concludes on Sunday, May 5 (details below) All funds raised at these fundraisers will off-set the costs of van rental and gas. LOCAL GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ADULTS FUMC Allen is pleased to host a grief support group within our church for those grieving the loss of a spouse. Our Grieving Hearts Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00am in the church’s community room.
