Children’s Creative Playday Preschool, a ministry of First United Methodist Church of Allen, is a learn-through-play experience for preschoolers, age 18 months through 6 years. Ash Wednesday, February 17, marks the beginning of the season of Lent.  This year at FUMC Allen, we’ll offer two worship opportunities to observe Ash Wednesday: the first at 12:00pm in the West or East Parking lot and the second at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. 4th Annual Collin County MLK Appreciation Day Set for January 18

You are invited to join us virtually on Monday, January 18, 2021, for the 4th Annual Collin County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Appreciation Day Service.  This year’s event features the theme, “The 1963 Birmingham Campaign,” and will be hosted by Dr. Cheryl Jackson, founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry. Christmas Eve 2020

On Thursday, December 24, First United Methodist Church offers five unique opportunities to celebrate Christmas Eve. Each service will offer the sacrament of Holy Communion and feature candlelight and carols. Because seating is limited at each service, pre-registration is required for all services. Please click on the service image to register. We will provide overflow space in our Fellowship Hall for the 5:30pm and 8:30pm services as well as nursery for children ages 4 and younger.

Education Hour Launches on November 29

First United Methodist Church of Allen is excited to announce the debut of our new “Education Hour.” On Sunday, November 29, our Sunday school classes and other small groups will return to in-person meetings.
