A special session of General Conference will commence on Saturday, February 23, 2019, and conclude on Tuesday, February 26. General Conference includes voting delegates from across the globe who will come together to make legislative decisions regarding the official stance of the UMC regarding human sexuality as it especially relates same gender marriage and ordination of self-avowed practicing homosexuals.
