Project Transformation Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Distribute food & supplies at PT site churches This summer, we will distribute a grab-and-go meal, as well as program and household supplies, to children and family members in our program. PTNT needs two to three direct service volunteers to sanitize, organize, and distribute supplies, Monday through Thursday, at several locations throughout Dallas. HOLIDAY CHALLENGE UPDATE by Rev Jessica Wright On Sunday, November 3, Kids Against Hunger set up 12 lines to assemble packages of highly nutritious vitamin-fortified meals. All of the assembly lines were full for 3 hours with 301 volunteers serving a total of 485 hours! Leaders planned to pack 150 boxes (32,400 meals), but we packed over 260 boxes (57,048 meals)! Why I participate in Feed our Neighbors and what I have learned in the process by Kim Stepniak As part of an ongoing effort to build bridges between our communities, the Islamic Association of Allen has invited FUMC Allen to join in preparing sandwiches and assembling meals for the homeless.
