FUMC Allen Welcomes New Director of Music Ministry
FUMC Allen’s Staff Parish Relations Committee is pleased to announce the addition of Michael “Mike” R. Link as our new director of music ministry at First United Methodist Church of Allen. His first official Sunday with us is Mother’s Day, May 14, but he’ll be rehearsing with the Chancel Choir on Wednesday, May 10. Marc Dawson will serve as the interim director until Mike’s arrival. Today is Mother’s Day when we honor all of our mothers and pray blessings on them today. We extend our gratitude to all mothers because they are a gift from God; we pray for God’s peace, joy, and love in their heart and in their homes. This position prepares media for in-person and live stream worship services and supervises all live streaming technologies, including multiple cameras, video switching, and media integration.
