February 2019 Worship Series: Making Relationships Work

This month’s sermon series, Making Relationships Work, is based in part on the book “Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work” by John Gottman. Our prayer is that anyone in any kind of relationship–relationships with friends, family members, a spouse/significant other, or a neighbor–will attend this series with your church family. We are confident you’ll find ways to apply these techniques to your relationships as we work together for good in the family of God. According to Gottman, couples strengthen the…

Earn Your WINGS

What’s essential for a long journey or a long flight? Your first thoughts might be good music, plenty of snacks, clothing, money, or gas. While all of these things and more are necessary, nothing is as essential as a road map, a GPS, or a flight plan to get you to where you’re going. The same is true for our faith journey. Why WINGS? Scripture calls us to be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. So, how do we live,…

They could be of your  grandparents when they were children, a school picture from when you were little, your mom and…

Worship Series: The Xmas Xchange

Exchanging gifts comes with the season. Sure, sometimes gift exchanges are a hassle, but in the end,  we occasionally receive that for which we’d hoped. What if we could do the same the heaviness that comes with Advent? What if we could exchange our despair, chaos, fear, bitterness, and darkness for the very best God offers through hope, peace, joy, love, and light? It can be ours if we but look to the source of all good gifts. Some will…
