What are your office hours?

Office hours are 9:00am-1:00pm, Monday-Friday. During office hours, please enter the church through the south entrance.

When are your worship services?

Sunday worship is held in the sanctuary at 8:30am for The Table and  11:00am for traditional worship.  For more about what to expect at worship, visit What to Expect.

How can we Pray for you?

We are a church that believes in the power of prayer to connect us with God and transform lives. If you would like to be a part of our prayer ministry, please contact Rev. Mary Beth Hardesty-Crouch. Below are a few ways you can serve:

• Prayer Cards: Prayer cards are hand-written cards of heart-felt prayers that are mailed to anyone who is on our prayer chain for whom we have an address.
• Prayer Chain: Our Prayer Chain consists of individuals who pray for the needs expressed in our congregation each week. Each week the joys and concerns shared are added to the prayer chain for prayer. To be added as a member of our Prayer Chain, contact Rev. Mary Beth Hardesty-Crouch.
• Prayer Requests: To submit your prayer to the prayer chain, submit your reqeust on our FIRST ALLEN CONNECT app or email your request to prayerrequest@fumcallen.org.

Do you have a preschool?

Yes, we do. To learn more about Children’s Creative Playday Preschool, visit their website or call 972.396.7575.

Does FUMC Allen have a social media presence?

FUMC Allen is plugged in to the world of social media through Facebook (facebook.com/fumcallen) and Instagram (@fumcallen). We also post videos on YouTube. We livestream two of our Sunday services from our livestream worship page, which can be viewed on YouTube. We also post church photos on our FUMC Allen SmugMug account.

Do you have any newsletters? How do I subscribe?

Each week, we send subscribers an email called “This Week at FUMC Allen,”  via our member database. Other newsletters include one for parents of children, emergency updates, and a weekly prayer chain. You can subscribe to any of our email lists HERE.

What do I do if I change my email address?

To update your email address in our church’s database, follow the directions below to update your email address in our church membership database.

HOW DO I ACCESS MY GIVING HISTORY & GIVING STATEMENT?

Go to our database at my.firstallen.org

Login with your username and password. If you have never logged in or have forgotten your password, click “Request Password.” You will receive an email with instructions on creating an account.

In your profile, you will see your giving history under the ‘Giving’ tab.

How do I schedule an event at the church?

What is Your inclement weather policy?

In anticipation of winter weather, FUMC Allen has established closing procedures in the event of dangerous conditions due to snow or ice. Our goal is to keep our guests and members safe and off the roads if hazardous driving becomes an issue.

When the threat of inclement weather is in the immediate forecast for the entire North Texas area, please watch this website. Subscribers to FUMC Allen’s email newsletters will also receive a Late Breaking News e-mail alert. You must be subscribed to our Constant Contact email service to receive the email notification.

Closing announcements will first be posted here on this website and on our church’s Facebook page. On weekdays during the public school year, FUMC Allen follows the closing decisions of the Allen ISD. Under most circumstances, a decision to close or delay school due to bad weather is made by 6:00am or earlier, according to the Allen ISD’s inclement weather policy. If schools are closed, the church is closed and all daytime activities are cancelled. If school openings are delayed, we will delay opening the church and Children’s Creative Playday Preschool.

During the evenings, weekend, and times school is not in session, visit this website page for details. We ask that members and guests not call the church office about church closings and program cancellations as we will be heading home to work remotely.
