Youth Wednesday Bible Study
Mid-week Bible Study encourages and fuels students in their relationship with God through scripture. During the year, we focus on specific books of the Bible as well as religious and theological topics and faith practices. During the pandemic, FUMC Allen’s Youth Ministry desires to minister to all students and families. We have created different pathways of ministry for students to connect. Agape Sunday Morning Class
Married and single adults, ages 40-60, meet weekly to study God’s word and share His love. Most in this class have children in high school or older; however, all are welcome.
Bible 101 Sunday Morning Class
The Bible 101 Class is a group of 30-50 year old adults using a variety of studies, focusing on growing in their understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith. This group focuses on issues faced in life and how the Bible relates to these issues
Genesis Sunday Morning Class
This group of age 40+ couples and singles varies its studies of the Bible to understand how the Bible speaks to issues such as relationships, family and other matters of daily life.
Golden Girls Sunday Morning Class
The Golden Girls study God’s word and its practical application for daily living as women in the world today.
Seekers Sunday Morning Class
The Seekers, adults in their 30s-50s focuses on building relationships while enjoying Christian fellowship. Married and single adults study the Bible to find guidance and strength in dealing with life experiences while living faithfully within their families, their work, and their community.
Sojourners Sunday Morning Class
This group of age 50+ lively seniors grows in Christ through scripture-based studies that usually last from 6 to 12 weeks. They are active in fellowship and service on a regular basis.
Women Unplugged Sunday Morning Class
Women Unplugged, a group of women in their 30s-70s, gather to unplug from their daily routines and the general busy-ness of life to focus on God’s Word in the Bible and its practical application for daily living as a woman in the world today, while encouraging one another in their Christian journey.
Cornerstone Sunday Morning Class
This lively group of married and single adults in their 30s-60s gathers for fellowship and Christian growth. Many have preschool to high school age children, though some have no children and some college and adult age children. Studies vary from books or parts of the Bible, to those that relate the Bible to various life issues.
Harmony Sunday Morning Class
This group of mostly retired senior adults enjoys fellowship as they discuss the Bible and the many aspects the Christian life. They study a variety of biblically related topics to help them grow in their Christian faith.
Journey Sunday Morning Class
Singles and couples have lively discussions about the Bible and living a life of faith, while supporting one another in the Christian life. This class frequently studies current Christian books as well as topics relevant to our faith.
