Sack Lunch Prep

We need volunteers to help us prepare sandwiches for our guests attending the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Appreciation Day Service on Monday, January 20. We’ll hold a sandwich-making session on Sunday, January 19, from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the FUMC Allen Fellowship Hall for anyone who would care to lend a helping hand. On Monday, January 20, we’ll also need volunteers to assemble sack lunches from 9:00am-12:30pm. Sign up on Sunday mornings or contact Ruth Swingle, 972.727.8261.

Sunday Morning Nursery

Our nursery is a wonderful place for families to find care for their youngest members during worship and special events. Our nursery staff is background checked and trained in CPR and first aid.  On Sunday mornings, we’ll share an age- appropriate Bible lesson. Nursery care is provided during all worship services (including holidays). We also have a private nursing space for moms and their little ones. Children’s Church

Our church is at its best when we are all together, including our children! On October 13, 2019, we begin Children’s Church during our 11:00am worship hour. All kindergarten through sixth grade children stay with their families until Children’s Time in worship. Then, Ms. Trish and Ms. April will take the children to attend Children’s Church, a child-focused worship time in the children’s building.
