Back to School Celebration
Sunday, August 9 • 8:30am & 11:00am
Join us on Sunday, August 9, as we celebrate the start of a new school year with a special Back to School Celebration during both our 8:30am and 11:00am worship services!
🎒 Blessing for THe School Year
We will invited our students and educators to join us for a Blessing for the School Year during both services. Each student will receive a special gift to take home (and a gift to share with a friend) as a reminder of God’s presence and care throughout the school year.
During worship, we’ll offer a special prayer over students and school staff, asking for God’s guidance, protection, and blessing as they return to class.
🙏 Prayers for the School Year
Visit our Back to School Prayer Table on Sundays from August 2 through August 16 to select a student’s name from our “School Bus of Names” and commit to praying for them throughout the year.
✏️ For Educators & DISTRICT EMPLOYEES
Beginning Sunday, August 2, through Sunday, August 16, we invite all educators—teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and school district employees—to sign up on our prayer list at our Back to School Prayer Table so we can pray for you throughout the school year.
On August 9, our educators and district employees are invited to visit our Appreciation Table to receive a Red Apple Gift Card, redeemable for a free drink at Missions Café as a small token of our gratitude for all you do.
We hope you’ll join us for this joyful and meaningful time as we bless and encourage students, educators, staff, and families heading into a new school year!
