February’s communion offering will go to support our global mission partner, Kids Against Hunger.
Kids Against Hunger’s goal is to eradicate of world hunger by packaging highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice meal kits. These meals are distributed to starving children and their families in 70 countries through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide.
Twice a year, our church packs meals for children in Honduras as well as “Latin rice” kits to feed local families and those living in areas impacted by natural disasters, such as hurricanes.
We are grateful for the work Kids Against Hunger does and are glad to continue supporting their good work with our neighbors.
As always, 100 percent of the money put in our communion offering baskets on Sunday, February 2, will go to our identified mission.
From our January communion offering, we were able to send $1,841 to Allen Community Outreach!
