DARING Youth Choir takes the musical “Godspell” on tour from May 30 to June 6 2022. The tour will take our youth to Madison, MS; Vicksburg, MS; Hattiesburg, MS; Gulf Shores, AL; Biloxi, MS; New Orleans, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; and Tyler, TX.
On the tour, our youth present “Godspell,” a lively musical that presents Jesus’ teachings as found in the book of Matthew, primarily the Sermon on the Mount.
DARING’s homecoming performance of “Godspell” is Monday, June 6, at 7:00pm in the FUMC Allen sanctuary in Allen TX.
The DARING Youth Music Ministry program at FUMC Allen includes opportunities for vocal performance, acting, choir, orchestra, and tech. With these multiple ways to participate in the performing arts, the number of youth who can be reached is much greater than if we just had a choir.
