“The Chosen” is the #1 highest crowd-funded project of all-time, depicting the life of the disciples and others as they encountered Jesus in their lives. At FUMC Allen, we’re excited about diving into this series as so many other Christians around the globe are doing and experiencing for ourselves the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of those who followed him.
Bring a friend to church with you on February 5 and join us each week as we unpack the Bible narratives behind each episode of Season 1.
How to Watch
This series is the perfect opportunity to gather with others for a small group study, invite a co-worker to watch the series with you and discuss on a lunch break, or invite the neighbors over for a watch party and conversation. Watching options include the following:
- Watch online for free at Angel Studio or The Chosen.
- Free Angel Studio app for Android or Apple products, which can be viewed on phones, Roku, Apple TV, etc. For details and instructions click HERE.
- The new official “The Chosen” app gives you full access to Seasons One through Three and exclusives, such as the brand new Season 3 Insider Aftershow with cast, Biblical Roundtables, and more.Watch free and easy in the new Chosen app.
- The free Chosen app is also available on your Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire streaming devices. Just search “The Chosen” within “Channels” (Roku) or “App Store” (Apple, Fire TV). You can also download the app onto your smart phone or pad.
- If you are an Amazon Prime member, go to amazon.com and search for “The Chosen Season 1”
- If you have a Netflix account, search for “The Chosen Season 1.”
- Season One can also be watched on these free streaming apps–Plex, Tubi TV, and Crackle–and these other subscription services: UP Faith & Family (Prime), Dove Channel (Prime) and Peacock.

Along with sermons based on each episode, we will offer a 40-day devotional book that will be available in Missions Cafe’.
