The Hills are Alive
On Sunday, April 18, we’ll share a meal to kick-off the 2021 summer musical, The Sound of Music. Everyone is invited for a time to sing and sign up for all aspects of supporting this major production, including cast, crew, and orchestra.
Registration and Lunch
If you plan to attend, we will need you to register so we can prepare a chair for you. We will also order box lunches for all who wish to order one. Visit the registration link to let us know you are coming and let us know if we can order lunch for you. We are ordering from Market Street and you can pick from a variety of options. Each box lunch is $10.
Sandwiches come with chips, seasonal fruit, and gourmet cookie. Salad comes with seasonal fruit. You can pay with your registration or you can pay at the luncheon.
You can also bring your own lunch
First, we will celebrate those who were cast in roles in 2020 and have held on for a year to get to do this musical! The good news? The auditioned cast is nearly fully intact!
Six weeks of music rehearsals begin in May on Wednesday from 8:00pm-9:15pm in the choir room. Full rehearsals begin during the third week in June.
Show dates are July 29, 30 and 31 with hopes of adding a fourth night on July 28.
We need volunteers to help with set construction, painting, props procurement, ticket sales, costume assistance, back stage crew, tech team including lighting, sound and more!
We also need a few more ladies to be nuns and need 4-5 men for the cast who will have short appearances.
