Worship at FUMC Allen
During these times of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing, FUMC Allen has changed its worship schedule to accommodate the guidelines of our community and our government.
Morning Watch is a gathering of faith builders and faith seekers who desire a time of communal worship by way of a worship style that fits their COVID risk tolerance level. The worship team leads the service from our courtyard while our worshipers stay in their cars and tune in to the service audio from their car radios.
Morning Watch is a time to focus on God through peaceful music, scripture readings, and heartfelt prayer.
At 11:00am, we offer a worship service where we praise God through music, connect with God through prayer, learn about God through scripture and sermon, and experience creative ways of connecting what we learn and how we live through multimedia and Christian music.
Until further notice on worship capacities, we are asking all those who wish to attend in-person worship to RSVP your intent to join us from the link on our home page.
This service is also broadcast live via Facebook and You Tube. For more information, visit our livestream worship page.
Nursery care is available during the 11:00am service for infants and children age 4 and younger. Children ages five and older attend worship with their families.
What to Expect
Our church atmosphere is “come as you are.” We want you to feel at home from the moment you step through the doors. Whatever stage of life you are in, married, single, youth, young or senior adult, we have a welcoming atmosphere that reaches all generations.
On Sunday morning, we have greeters at our entrances and a main information/welcome table in the labyrinth area, just outside the main sanctuary entrance.
