FUMC Allen invites you to their Holidays Gala on Saturday, October 7, at First United Methodist Church of Allen.
Fall/Holidays Bazaar
Be our guest and shop from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Fall/Holidays Bazaar in the FUMC Allen atrium. Vendors will be here to offer a host of homemade treasures for your holiday shopping. Admission to the bazaar is free.
HOLIDAYS Lunch and Entertainment BY Group Therapy
A special part of our gala is the opportunity to share a meal and enjoy fun musical entertainment.
You will step into the FUMC Allen gym, which will be transformed into a HOLIDAYS theme with all of our photo-worthy HOLIDAYS tables uniquely decorated by our table hosts.
You’ll dine on a fresh, delicious gourmet lunch prepared by our own chef, Brandon Weber. His menu features a fresh fruit salad, Italian chicken with wild rice, parmesan crusted potatoes, and fruit cobbler.
Following lunch, we welcome our special guests, “Group Therapy,” a classic rock and dance band based in North Dallas. They will perform music from the 80s and 90s as well as music from the HOLIDAYS.
The meal and entertainment begin at 11:30am in the FUMC Allen gym. We’ll be finished at 1:00pm, which allows plenty of time for shopping both before and after the event.
TICKETS
Tickets to our gala meal and entertainment go on sale on September 10 and will be available to purchase both at the church and online until September 24.
The cost for the meal and program is $25 per person. Tables for eight are available for $200.
Tickets can be purchased online using a credit card, debit card, or electronic transfer. Our United Women In Faith will be selling tickets between worship services on the following Sundays: September 10, September 17, and September 24. We’ll accept credit cards, debit cards, check, or cash at the sales table.
TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Proceeds from the event benefit Hope’s Door New Beginning Center, Send Hope, and Streetside Showers.
