Back to School Blessings on August 24

On Sunday, August 24, FUMC Allen offers a BACK TO SCHOOL BLESSING during all three sanctuary worship services. This special time of prayer for our students, teachers, and school employees who are returning to school this month. Our students are invited to bring their back packs with them to worship to receive a special gift.

Back to School Bash

FUMC Allen hosts the community BACK TO SCHOOL BASH on August 16 from 9:00am-12:00pm. The event serves the clients of Allen Community Outreach and their school-aged children as they prepare to go back to school this month. We still need VOLUNTEERS to help at Saturday’s event. We need volunteers to help on Friday with event set up, with shifts available from 7:00am-10am, 10am-12pm, and 3pm-5pm. Youth Travel to the Mountain T.O.P.

On Friday, July 18, 40 youth and 10 adult chaperones begin a journey to MOUNTAIN T.O.P. in Tennessee. Prayer is a vital part of their mission trip, and you can participate by providing words of encouragement for the participants.
