Hallelujah Hikers October Hike

On Saturday, October 18, the Hallelujah Hikers are traveling to Dinosaur Valley State Park to hike the Blue Trail along the Paluxy River. On October 21, CareGivers United welcomes guest speaker, Elder Care Attorney Lori Leu, at 7:00pm in the FUMC Allen parlor. FUMC Allen’s Caring & Support Ministries presents “Beyond The Broken Heart,” an eight-week support and ministry program for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Sixth Grade Overnight

Our first On Deck overnight is coming up September 19-20. This event is for current sixth graders and chaperones only. We begin the evening at Main Event in Plano with parent drop off at 8:00pm (We’ll begin check in at 7:45pm). After laser tag, video games and bowling, we return to the church for a game of Grog. Hallelujah Hikers

The Hallelujah Hikers have had a change of plans for their local hike on September 20 at Oak Point Park. The Plano Balloon Festival is being held at the park from September 19-21, and areas will be blocked off and most of the trails will not be accessible during this ticketed event. Instead, we will hike the trail around White Rock Lake. We will meet at FUMC Allen at 7:15am under the green awning at the East Entrance to carpool.…
