Fall Festival 2018 Features Fun For Everyone

Change the World: Kids Against Hunger

During Change The World Weekend, Kids Against Hunger hosts a 3-day food packaging event in the gym at First United Methodist Church of Allen. Pot Luck Luncheon

October 8 will be a very special Sunday at FUMC Allen. On that day, we’ll end our worship series,  Reclaiming the Table, with a CHURCH-WIDE POT LUCK LUNCHEON at 12:15pm in the gym. We ask that each family bring a dish to feed 6-8 people to share at the meal. Volunteers will be available to take your dish before the 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am worship services. Help Stop Hunger This Summer

During the school year the Free & Reduced Lunch Program offers meals each school day to students of low income families. BUT, where do they eat in the summertime? This summer Allen Community Outreach will again be fighting hunger and filling tummies by supplying specially packed bags of healthy, kid-friendly groceries. Each bag contains easy-to-prepare breakfast and lunch food items. For a $25 donation you can Adopt-An-ACO Kid and provide nutritious meals this summer. Or shop for the items we…
