Missions Cafe Needs You! Volunteers Welcome.
Many of you know about our Missions Café. The cafe, open every Sunday from 8:00am to 11:00am, offers coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, donuts, smokies, and even breakfast tacos to raise money to support the mission efforts of our church. Every time you buy a latte, you help feed malnourished children in Honduras. When you buy an Americano, your purchase helps to send care packages to soldiers serving overseas. Pop Top Ministry Continues to Thrive at FUMC Allen
For many years now, Shelley and Mark Stevenson have collected pop-tabs for the Ronald McDonald House on behalf of FUMC Allen. Mark and Shelley have promoted this personal mission throughout their mission field by sharing this ministry within the church through Sunday school classes, children’s church, and Vacation Bible School. They have gone outside the church into their circles of influence, gathering millions of pop tabs along the way. On August 6 alone, Mark and Shelley deposited 13 containers of…

Our March 2020 communion offering will benefit our mission partner Project Transformation (PT). Born right here in North Texas in 1998, Project Transformation is now a national organization. Why I participate in Feed our Neighbors and what I have learned in the process by Kim Stepniak As part of an ongoing effort to build bridges between our communities, the Islamic Association of Allen has invited FUMC Allen to join in preparing sandwiches and assembling meals for the homeless. Serving side by side, we pack around 500 meals on the fourth Saturday of each month. Each meal includes a turkey sandwich, water, fruit, and snack items. Feed Our Neighbors…
