Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga uses chairs and props for balance and stability. The class is open to all, but designed to bring the benefits of yoga to those who have difficulty getting up and down off of the floor, are recovering from injury, or have other physical limitations. Participants do not need to bring a mat.
Ladies Monday Lunch
Women of retirement age(ish) are invited to join Rev Maxie Moore and others on the courtyard or in the atrium, depending on the weather, each Monday from 11:45am-12:45pm for lunch. Men’s Bible Study
This group of men meet each week to discuss the scripture for Sunday’s upcoming sermon. Several of the men are meeting in person in S207/211, but a few are joining virtually by phone or video. Rebuilding Life Widow Support Group

Rebuilding Life typically meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month but exceptions do occur during holiday months. In Beat With God Children’s Percussion Group
In Beat With God (IBWG) Children’s Percussion Group, grades 2-6, performs regularly in Sunday worship services at FUMC Allen. They meet for rehearsals on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 5:45pm in the Children’s Assembly Area (C170) with director Karen O’Connor. Sunday Morning Nursery
Our nursery is a wonderful place for families to find care for their youngest members during worship and special events. Our nursery staff is background checked and trained in CPR and first aid. On Sunday mornings, we’ll share an age- appropriate Bible lesson. Nursery care is provided during all worship services (including holidays). Youth Sunday School

Preschool Sunday School
FUMC Allen offers a preschool Sunday school for children 2 years old through pre-kindergarten in the nursery hallway near the Children’s Wing. Classes are held at 9:45am each Sunday. Children enjoy crafts, snacks, videos, and stories that help them learn that God created them and God loves them.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School meets on Sundays at 9:45am in the Children’s Wing. We will continue to post our Online Experience videos on YouTube for families who wish to follow the lessons at home or watch the lessons again. On Deck On Deck is our fifth grade Sunday School program at FUMC Allen. We’ve designed On Deck as a fun year of learning and fellowship for our students as they complete their last year before sixth grade Confirmation! On Deck officially begins September 11. DARING Music Ministry
If you are in grades 7 through 12, FUMC Allen’s Music Ministry has a place for you! DARING Ministry, our youth music program, offers opportunities for choir, orchestra, and tech. This group for anyone dealing with the death of a loved one, and it meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00am at in the community room at FUMC Allen.
Game Day

Stephen Ministry Supervision
FUMC Allen has a dynamic Stephen Ministry program and once trained, these care givers attend supervision sessions each month to provide group members with support, guidance, and accountability.

Collin County Legal Aid Clinic
For 29 years, FUMC Allen, in partnership with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, has hosted a monthly Legal Aid Clinic at the church. The clinic provides the opportunity for low-income individuals to meet with attorneys and paralegals regarding critical civil legal problems on a pro-bono basis.
